Power has been out intermittently in lower Thonglor on Thursday evening since a feckless tree and gravity conspired to take out some power lines.
As of 6:30pm, crews were working to repair the damage on Soi Thonglor 5, with the street partially closed to traffic.
Personnel on the scene said to expect everything back to normal by 7:30pm.
