A minister on a motosai
Shortly after his initial dalliance with Bangkok’s public bus system, Transport Minister Chatchart Sittipunt is once again experimenting with the city’s plethora of transit options. This time, however, Bangkok’s social media watchdogs have caught the Minister riding to work on a motosai.
According to Khaosod, Chadchart resorted to riding the motorcycle taxi after being left out in the cold once again by Bangkok’s bus system.
The Minister had planned to take the bus to a meeting with the director of the Bangkok Mass Transport Authority (BMTA), but soon realized a trip by bus would take far too long.
This is the second time Chatchart has given up on Bangkok’s beleaguered buses.
Last week, he set out to take a Bangkok city bus up to Don Mueang Airport, but soon abandoned the scheme in favor of catching a ride from his chauffer.
