Tourism Authority to train tour guides in Chinese, Russian

Beautiful, wholesome Pattaya

In order to accommodate the Kingdom’s changing tourist demographics, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is planning to open up new language schools in tourist-heavy provinces such as Chiang Mai and Pattaya.

These schools will focus primarily on teaching Russian and Chinese to tour guides and service industry workers.

An opening date for these language schools has yet to be decided upon, but the National News Bureau of Thailand reports that the TAT will request a budget for the project at the next Ministry meeting.
