Tourism Authority courts domestic, foreign travelers

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will be drumming up local tourism by implementing the “Dream Tourism” initiative while also working on its goal of netting 28 million foreign visitors in 2014.

The Dream Tourism model encourages local tourists to travel the way they want. The TAT will also be pushing for their “Fall in Love With Thailand” campaign, which is a yearlong program to push for a more active tourism industry.

According to the National News Bureau of Thailand, the TAT plans to tap emerging tourist markets in China, Russia and India.
