A woman accused of stealing her girlfriends’ iPhones after seducing them was arrested at Central Ramindra mall yesterday.
The victims said that Pornpimol Boonyakarn, 26, disappeared with their devices while on separate dates with the women.
Pornpimol, who identifies as a tomboy, flirted with the victims on the social chat network Line and claimed her father was an influential soldier to gain their trust.
She then lured the girls onto romantic dates during which ask to borrow their phones.
Wikipedia defines a Thai tomboy as a woman, “who exhibits characteristics or behaviors considered typical of the gender role of a boy, including wearing masculine clothing and engaging in games and activities that are physical in nature and are considered in many cultures to be the domain of boys.”
Pornpimol made a full confession, the Daily News reported.
