Today in meth: Cops confiscate 700,000 pills

From an early 2013 drug bust

Thai police have confiscated 700,000 methamphetamine pills in a pair of colossal narcotics busts.

One of the busts took place at a gas station in Ayutthaya (500,000 pills) and the other took place in Nong Khai (200,000 pills). Both shipments were allegedly bound for Bangkok.

MCOT reports that the two suspects who were carrying meth through Ayutthaya are suspected of being members of Lt Col Yi Se’s network. The estimated value of their charge is THB177 million.
