Three Chinese visitors died and 17 were injured Wednesday in a bus crash on Phuket, as Eakkapop Thongttub write in The Phuket News:
A tour bus crashed on Phuket’s Kata Hill yesterday, killing three of 18 Chinese tourists on board and injuring the others.
The bus, owned by OA Transport and driven by Kajonwit Srisongkram, 35, from Trang, was on its way to Chalong when it smashed through a roadside barrier and plunged down the hillside.
Kajonwit was not injured but two women and one man among the passengers were thrown out of the bus and died.
Six ambulances attended the scene of the crash. The 15 injured passengers were taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital.
Chalong Police have asked motorists to avoid the area.
