Five men, three of whom were Thai and two of whom were Burmese, were arrested for robbing clubbers in the areas surrounding Soi Thong Lor 10 and Soi Nana, police announced yesterday.
During the arrest, police discovered two Honda motorcycles, which the gang used to escape following their petty thefts. They also found several luxurious smartphones and many other items in the group’s possession. The gang admitted to thefts, saying that they sold the stolen items in Ratchada and spent the money on drugs.
The gang members will face charges related to robbery, Dailynews reported.
