TEDxBangkok, the stage organized for talks to generate ideas and inspirations, is coming to Bangkok in June.
18 Thai speakers in areas such as business, science, arts, philosophy and social issues will get their 18 minutes to inspire the public under the theme “Catching the Ripples” to look ahead to what they see as the next waves of change headed toward society.
The event will be held June 13 at Aksra Theatre King Power. Tickets are THB1,500 and available online. Guests must respond to a series of questions to be considered for a ticket.
The full list of speakers, all said to be respected voices, will be gradually revealed. The talks will be conducted in Thai with real-time translation via headphones available.
TEDx is an independent offshoot of the popular TED lecture series.
