The latest Ichitan marketing stun has left at least one mini mart stuck with a bunch of topless, sugary beverages due to people stealing their lids for a change to win a luxury car.
Photos shared by Joy Hudrudchai, who claims to work at the Supercheap mini mart in Phuket, shows Ichitan bottles sans their lids this morning due to petty thieves with Mercedes dreams.
“Someone wants a Mercedes but doesn’t wanna pay [for the green tea],” she wrote. “They come in to steal the lids every day.”
The Ichitan lids contain a code customers can text to win a Mercedes.
