The arrest was made at the Southern Bangkok Bus Termnal on Borommaratchachonnani Road following a tip-off. Police found the illicit substances, worth over THB33 million, in a black bag in possession of 28-year-old Adisak Chobpol and 18-year-old Nattawut Chamchansri.
The duo, who confessed to the crime, said that they were hired at the price of THB50,000 each to transport the drugs to the Southern province. Adisak and Nattawut will be handed over to the Narcotics Suppression Bureau for interrogation, Dailynews reported.
