A hot-headed Thai driver fighting back against a minivan who cut him off on the highway learnt the hard way that revenge is not as sweet as it’s cracked up to be.
In a 2011 video that has recently emerged after being posted by Live Leak and picked up by the BBC, the driver of a black sedan is clearly infuriated by a white minivan that cuts him off on the Thai highway, and makes several attempts to retaliate in kind.
The dash cam footage from another car sees the black sedan zoom across two lanes to undercut the minivan and give the driver a taste of his own medicine.
Eventually the sedan triumphs and overtakes the minivan, but the driver’s victory is shortlived as he then slams into the road safety barrier and spectacularly spins wildly out onto the other side of the road, sending a wheel flying in the process.
The white minivan, the architect of the sedan’s misery, is seen avoiding the chaos and smoothly driving on. What a metaphor for life that is.
A lesson for us all to remember the next time we get cut off by an idiot on the road.
