The Union Bank of Switzerland and Singaporean business consulting company Wealth-X have revealed that Thailand has a record 95 people who are new ultra-high-net-worth individuals in ASEAN.
Thailand now has 720 billionaires with properties worth THB3,500 billion in total.
Indonesia still has the most billionaires in ASEAN, with 865.
The growing rate of investment in Thailand in the past year has turned a number of millionaires into billionaires, Daily News reported.
