Thailand gives money to aid Nepal

Thailand today gave another THB10 million to Nepal to be used for aiding those affected by Saturday’s earthquake.

The junta’s cabinet yesterday approved THB100 million be used to help quake victims while medical teams were flown to the mountain kingdom this morning.

Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha met with Ambassador of Nepal Khaga Nath Adhikari today to present the THB10 million and pledged further assistance in the form of medical, rescue and communications services, according to state media.
