Two Thai brothers’ “Farm Angels” have just been featured on the French website for Grazia fashion magazine, and their latest collection of costumes made from fertilizer bags are just fabulous.
The two trans teens, known as Gigi and Joono, from Nakhon Ratchasima province, are praised in the Grazia article for being able to create stunning outfits without any luxurious materials.
As reported by Coconuts in December of last year, the mastermind behind Gigi and Joono’s costumes is a 30-year-old trans designer, Suchanatda Kaewsa-nga, who’s also from the same Isaan province.
Known for making costumes out of objects she can find in her rural hometown, Suchanatda’s latest collection from fertilizer bags has gone viral since it was posted Monday. These photos certainly look like they belong in a high fashion magazine.

Many have said that Gigi and Joono remind them of Apichet “Madeow” Atirattana, another trans designer who also made costumes from natural materials and common objects from her mother’s kitchen.

Not long after becoming an internet sensation, Madeow was interviewed by TIME magazine and featured as a guest designer in Asia’s Next Top Model.
