Thai Post to shut down for Songkran

Thailand Post announced today it will limit its services this week and suspend them during Songkran to upgrade its systems.

From April 4 to 6, the bill-paying service, Western Union, and money order services will be closed nationwide while customers can still ship and receive mail normally.

During Songkran, from April 12-15, all post offices will be closed along with the online mail tracking system.

Those who want to send a Songkran present or greeting card domestically should do so by Friday to make sure the items are received before the holiday.
