Thais looking to make or renew their passports any day of the week can now do so at two shopping malls.

Starting this week, consular offices at MBK Center in Bangkok and Central Westgate in Nonthaburi province are open Saturday and Sunday, except for public holidays, in addition to weekdays.

Both branches will be open 10am to 6pm with regular services and automated kiosks for walk-ins. Appointments can be booked online in Thai or English.

The Pathum Wan office can be found in Zone A on the fifth floor of MBK Center. The Bang Yai office can be found in the Fashion Plus Zone on the ground floor of Central Westgate.

Both branches were closed for two years during the pandemic and only reopened in August.
