Thai Meteorological Dept: It’s officially winter!

Wearing rain boots to keep your feet dry is so last season. Cozy cat sweaters are in.

The rain has passed, and winter has officially started, the Thai Meteorological Department announced Monday.

The amount of rain has been decreasing and the weather is getting cool, especially in the North and Isaan, where the temperature is expected to drop by 2-4 celsius next week.

For Bangkok, the Central and East, the temperature will continue to drop while the South may have to wait a while.

This week, Bangkok will experience rain until Friday (only 10-30 percent of the area) but after Halloween, the temperature will drop 1-2 celsius and you will notice the cool air in the morning.

Today is 25-32 celsius.
