Five puppies that would have been drowned in a muddy well (yes, it’s still rainy season in Thailand) were saved by a Trang man over the weekend and are now up for adoption. We’ll give you a second to get the “awww”s out of your system.
The man, who goes by the Facebook handle Surachet Klaewkla, said he spotted the moving (and adorable) balls of mud in a well at the construction site of a new Trang Village housing complex. Obviously, he did the right thing by climbing down into the shallow well and helping the puppies to safety.
“I thought they were rocks, but after looking closely, they are puppies!” he wrote in a Saturday post that has been shared nearly 30,000 times.
We know. You’re dying to see what they look like. Luckily, Surachet gave the pups a bath and posted their after pictures. What a transformation.
Surachet called for netizens to adopt the pooches, and many posted inquires in the comment section. Others who don’t live in Trang simply said that Surachet had given their faith in humanity a boost with his act of kindness.
