Thailand beat Vietnam in straight sets earlier today to claim a second win in the quarterfinals of the 17th Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship.
The Thai spikers comfortably won 25-11, 25-15, 25-15 in Nakhon Ratchasima. The victory is likely to secure second place in Group E.
Today’s easy win came after the Thai ladies beat Japan in four sets (25-15, 25-23, 23-25, 30-28) on Monday.
Thailand are grouped with Japan, Kazakhstan and Vietnam in Pool E, reported the Bangkok Post.
