Thai Airways puts its A380 to London service on hold

A plane of whispers and dreams…

Thai Airways International has pushed back plans to start flying an A380 superjumbo jet liner from Bangkok to London.

Originally, the airline had planned to start offering Bangkok-to-London A380 flights on December 1. Now, however, Thai Airways estimates that it will actually be able to start servicing the route at the end of October 2014.

In its announcement of the delay, Thai Airways blamed “important technical modifications” for delaying delivery of the A380.
