Wednesday night passed with a marked lack of grenade throwing, instead it was molotov cocktails tossed by a gang of dek waen.
At about 2am this morning, a gang of teens on half a dozen motorcycles approached protester security checkpoints at the Thai-Belgian bridge. After the guards denied them passage over the bridge, they returned a short time later to throw molotov cocktails, one of which landed without exploding about 10 meters from a bunker of army soldiers. Gunfire was also heard before the teens left.
Police are unable to fall back on security camera footage as they said their wiring had been cut, Thai PBS reported.
