Patumthani police arrested a teacher for impersonating a police officer this morning.
Narong Pornnaeak, 43, was arrested at a gas station while wearing a police uniform and carrying a transceiver, fake police ID and handcuffs.
After several officers noticed his questionable uniform, he was invited down to the station for questioning.
Narong says he used to be a teacher in Bangkok and liked to dress up like an officer to impress his girlfriend.
Narong was charged with counterfeiting a police uniform, forgery, and owning a police transceiver without a license, Khaosod reported.
