A taxi driver beat and robbed a tourist he was taking to the airport yesterday.
Police said a 20-year-old female tourist from China filed a complaint that as the taxi approached Don Mueang airport, he pulled off the road and started punching her stomach somewhere in Pathum Thani province.
The woman fled the vehicle and flagged down a police car. Upon returning to the scene, the driver was gone. So were her tickets, clothes and money.
Police are reviewing security camera footage to look for a suspect as the woman couldn’t recall any identifying information, Khaosod reported.
