Commuters using the Rama III Bridge to and from the fabled lands of Thonburi will want to consider alternatives to Ratchadaphisek Road, which will partially close for about nine months starting tonight.
Starting at 11pm, several lanes running both ways on Ratchadaphisek Road will be closed between the bridge and The Mall Thapra to make way for the digging of an underpass under Ratchaphruek Road.
Motorists are advised to use Somdet Phra Chao Taksin Road to reach the bridge instead.
