A foreign national was found dead of apparent suicide Friday inside the decades-abandoned Sathorn Unique project on Charoen Krung Road.
A Swedish man in his early 30s was found hanged high in the 49-story structure by a photographer who ascended the building Friday morning and noticed a bad smell.
Authorities found the man’s body on the 43rd floor and believe he died at least seven days earlier, Bangkok Post reported.
One week prior the building had drawn attention by being lit up with powerful lighting as part of a lighting art installation.
