The People’s Democratic Reform Committee plans on occupying at least seven major intersections in Bangkok next Monday, Jan. 13 to express their displeasure with the Yingluck Shinawatra government.

The intersections are Lat Phrao five-way intersection, Victory Monument, Pathumwan, Lumpini park, Ratchaprasong, Asoke and Chaeng Wattana Road.

Oh joy.

PRDC secretary general Suthep Thaugsuban said that the “siege” on Bangkok would “carried with caution to minimize the impact on the public,” the Bangkok Post reported.

Suthep added that a special lane would be open in protest areas for public buses, and that anyone who needs to go to the hospital should hold up a special sign and will be allowed to pass by guards. Vehicles holding civil servants, however, will definitely not be allowed to pass through.
