Piyamart Bandasak, a suspect wanted in connection with the visa sticker theft case from the Thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur last month, was arrested in the Bung Kum district of Bangkok.
Piyamart alleges that she was approached by an Indian man, Kumar Ramesh, to help him sell the stickers to foreigners for THB30,000 each. About 300 stickers were stolen from the embassy
Last month, Samuel Ncha Ekwale, from Cameroon, was found with a visa issued by the Thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur even though he had never been to the city, reported the Bangkok Post.
Piyamart provided three people with the stickers: her Filipino housekeeper, a Nigerian and Mr Ekwale.
