Online fans of a famous 3-year-old model and actress are unhappy that Instagram will delete her account because it violates their terms of service.
The account for baby superstar Wanmai, famous for being the cute adopted sister of Pakorn “Boy” Chatborirak, has been locked and will soon be deleted, according to a statement sent by Instagram to her adoptive mother, who maintains the account.
“It’s a violation of our policies to create an account for a child under the age of 13, even if the child can’t access the account or uses the account under parental supervision,” read the statement, which was posted yesterday by Ngamtip Chatborirak, Wanmai’s mother. “As a result, this account will be deleted. This decision is final and can’t be appealed.”
The account had been inaccessible since Jan. 6.
Many netizens expressed their disappointment and posted messages begging CEO Kevin Systrom to bend the rules the child star’s account with the hashtag #supportlilwanmai.

Some said it was an inconsistent move in a system where many fictitious accounts and profiles for animals exist.
“Y not u delete puppy or cat account or any animals or other kids ig!!!!! They didn’t use ig by them-self either,” user Mikemicky argued.
It’s not clear what prompted Instagram’s decision, but the account could have been flagged by users uncomfortable with how the toddler was presented.
Wanmai built her fame via regular media exposure along with her famous brother Boy Pakorn. She has more than one million followers on Instagram.
