A group of superheros went on a mission to save young patients and boost their spirits at Siriraj Hospital yesterday.
Members of “Goodboy FC,” a Bangkok amateur football club, put on superhero suits such as Spiderman, Ironman and Batman to deliver toys and win smiles from children who have been battling chronic illness for a very long time at the hospital in the capital’s Bangkok Noi district.
After learning about the children who live with little hope as they’re unlikely to get better, Sutthikiat Anatawitthayanon organized his friends to use their superhuman power of compassion to support to the children.
“We met many young patients today,” Suthikiati said. “Their smiles made us happy and inspired us to do many more good things.”
Now that’s a true hero.
