Thailand’s stock exchange hopes it proves difficult to shut down a moving target.
Under threat from protesters, the Stock Exchange of Thailand announced this morning its investor services have moved from their headquarters on Rathcadaphisek Road down the street to The Esplanade mall.
Trading services will be available on a temporary basis there near the Maruay Library until further notice.
The move came after threats were made by a faction of anti-government protesters said they’d take over the exchange’s offices if caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra did not quit her post by 10am this morning, Bangkok Post reported.
