An attack launched by numerous, stick-wielding teenagers took place inside a 7-Eleven in Northern Thailand in the wee hours of yesterday morning — a chaotic scene that was captured by CCTV and has since received plenty of attention from local media.

At about 1am, Muang Lamphun police received a report that a fight had broken out inside a 7-Eleven near Lamphun Hospital in the province’s Lampun Mueang district.

By the time police arrived, the gang had already dispersed, according to Workpoint, though the entire scene had already been recorded by the store’s security cams.

The footage shows multiple men dressed in black, their faces covered and hoodies pulled over their heads, walking through the store with their sticks as though looking for someone.

At one point, one of the men stops in front of the camera and point toward the right of the screen. Several more teenagers  — at least 10 people — then enter the store and a chaotic rumble breaks out that leaves one teenager in a red hoodie huddled on the floor in apparent pain after being jumped by five men.

After examining CCTV footage from outside the store, police determined that the beaten teenager had been chased into the 7-Eleven, possibly following a fight at another location.

Fortunately, no major injuries were sustained by the victim, though some damage was caused to the store.

Police are currently hunting for the teens in the video.
