A man accused of raping his 7-year-old stepdaughter was stomped to death in Trang prison after he sat on the wrong chair.
Prasin, a rape suspect who was held in prison since yesterday, was killed during his first night in jail by another inmate – identified by prison guards as a big shot – after Prasit reportedly sat in his chair.
According to Trang prison guards, Prasit was being held in the same cell as Worapong Suwanwichit, a convicted arsonist, where the incident happened.
Prasit’s body will be sent for an autopsy, Kapook reported.
