Three golfers who were in Thailand for the LPGA Honda tournament were involved in a sizable car wreck as they drove from Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi airport in order to catch a flight out of the country.
Paula Creamer, Suzann Peterson and Ai Myazato sustained minor injuries, but were otherwise in respectable condition. They were involved in a five-car pileup that left Creamer with whiplash, but no other lingering injuries.
Creamer and her caddie, Colin Cann, were inspected by doctors in Singapore after leaving the Kingdom, and pronounced in relatively good health.
The Bangkok Post reports that Creamer, Miyazato and Petterson are still scheduled to compete in the next phase of the HSBC golf tournament in Singapore.
