Soccer players from across Asia, Australia, New Zealand, UK, France and Germany will compete in the Bangkok International Soccer 7s on June 30th-July 1st.
With as many as 20 teams expected to compete the popularity of the contest continues to grow. Matches will be played on a field 70 by 45 meters (a standard football pitch is 105 by 68 metres), 15 minutes per half, full size goals and no offsides rule.
The tournament is invitation-only and features Open and Masters over 35s categories, which is probably why rolling substitutions are a necessity.
No prize money is at stake but a cup, plate, and bowl are up for grabs to the winning teams.
Bangkok International Soccer 7s will take place at the Vichupa Ramintra venue and is affiliated with the competitions held in Phuket and Pattaya.
