Six people were killed in Chonburi province when a speeding pickup truck slammed into a pillar early yesterday morning.
Five migrant workers from Cambodia and their Thai driver died after their truck crashed at high speed into the pillar of a bridge about an hour outside of Bangkok near the Khao Kheow Open Zoo at 5am.
Another four Cambodians were hospitalized with serious injuries after being thrown from the truck.
Police Lt. Col. Pornchai Paksiritham said the workers probably were heading to Rayong after entering Thailand illegally, Bangkok Post reported.
