After months of mulling the concept, and making vague promises about a remedy, the Education Ministry is taking measurable strides towards allowing Thai students to sport longer hairstyles.
Next Tuesday, Education Minister Phongthep Thepkanjana will bring a proposal before the Thai cabinet that, if approved, will result in the abolishment of the current standards for the length of Thai students’ hair.
If approved, the amendment will take effect during the 2013 school year, reports the Nation.
