So this is why Miss Universe Thailand needs 17 suitcases

As beautiful ladies from all over the world gather in the Philippines to compete to be the fairest of them all; many have predicted that Miss Thailand, Chalita “Namtan” Suansane, will land in the top five.

Of course we’re biased, but who can deny that her striking facial features, stunning body, and smooth tan skin demand the title?

She took the international tabloids by storm when she was photographed leaving Suvarnabhumi Airport with 17 pieces of luggage, weighing over 300 kilograms in total.

Over the past nine days, we got to see some of the costumes that those bags.

First impressions matters. Namtan wore a dress made of ikat Thai silk from Surface boutique.

Sleek and sophisticated by none other than Versace.

This is what glamor looks like: Mesh Museum gown for the reception dinner at the Governor’s Ball.

Another chic look in Vickteerut’s pleated dress.

A little fierceness doesn’t hurt: A Milin dress was paired with a tiger-print purse from DVF.

Namtan also rocked the outfits prepared by the Miss Universe organizer. Here she is in the Philippines’ national costume, called a terno, and designed by Filipino designer Rian Fernandez. The elegant dress features 7,107 embroidered pearls that represent the number of islands in the Philippines. For the swimsuit competition, she turned heads in this blue cut-out one-piece.

Slay it, girl.
