To mark the occasion of India’s 67th year of independence Siam Paragon will hold a 4-day Indian spectacular called “Incredible India Week.” The Indian embassy has lined up Bollywood fashion designers, traditional Indian dancers and musicians, and authentic cuisine and teas from Darjeeling and Assam.
Classic Indian textiles, paintings, handcrafts, costumes and jewelry will also be available throughout the mall. Opening night (tonight) will showcase time-honored dance from Bharat Natyam with music by Carnatic starting at 6pm.
Thailand boasts around 200,000 individuals of Indian descent. “Incredible India Week” was created to promote the strong cultural and historical ties between both countries.
