Siam Discovery will hold a grand sale before closing for renovation in May.
If like most of the human race you haven’t stepped into Siam Discovery except to soak some aircon, you might find reason to later this month.
Megamall tycoon Siam Piwat will invest THB4 billion to give sagging Siam Discovery a big facelift to make it relevant with shoppers 18 years after it opened, and that means a big clearance sale in May.
“We will change everything from the building’s shape, service, management, and sizes of shops,” spokesman Siripen Intuphuti said.
The concept of the new Siam Discovery hasn’t been revealed, but Siam Piwat is aiming high, promising to deliver a “phenomenon that hasn’t happened in Thailand before.”
The mall will hold a “groundbreaking sale” offering up to 90 percent discounts from April 23 to May 5 as the mall will close from May 6 until early 2016, Daily News reported.
