A drunk security guard decided to reveal his affection for a foreign resident living in Chonburi by sexually assaulting her in her own home.
The 50-year-old Welsh woman, whose identity was withheld, told police the residential village’s security guard broke into her home while she was there alone. She accused him of kissing her and touching her breasts before fleeing while she yelled for help.
Police said the 39-year-old security guard, identified only as La, was drunk when they spoke to him.
He confessed he’d had a crush on the victim since she rented a house in the village a month ago, police said, but claimed he only asked to kiss her cheek after working up a lot of liquid courage. The kind that comes in a bottle.
“Madam, can I kiss your cheek?” is what he told police he said to her, denying he touched her any further, Sanook reported.
