Science Museum doubles down on geek awesome with robots and space

The National Science Museum is a popular field trip spot for elementary school kids on weekdays, but now it could be cool enough to draw some adults on the weekend.

For those who’ve had enough of their fellow man, the museum has launched the new 3D Planetarium yesterday where you can escape this tiresome planet and to travel into the fascinating virtual galaxy.

All this awaits a convenient hour’s drive from downtown.

The planetarium currently shows three movies: “The Birth of the Solar System,” “Chronicle of a Journey to Earth,” and “Astronomy: 3,000 Years of Stargazing,” which run about 25 minutes in total.

Also, the museum is hosting two new exhibitions: Developments of Robot and Climate Change, Manager reported.
