Say hello to his little friend: Shotgun-wielding Chuwit not scared by hotel attack

You wanna get Chuwit? You pull a knife, he pulls a gun. You pull a pistol, he pulls a pump-action, large-capacity riot shotgun.

That’s how Chuwit Kamolvisit, Bangkok’s larger-than-life politician, responded early this morning when unknown gunmen opened fire on a hotel he owns on Sukhumvit Soi 24.

After shots broke several windows at the Davis Hotel, Chuwit came out wielding his five-shot riot shotgun to declare he’d never bow to threats.

No one was injured in the attack.

Chuwit said the attack may be related to his tearing into protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban on Facebook, Thai PBS reported.
