Salty granny unleashes decades of fury upon hapless serpent (VIDEO)

A snake hungry for a toad in this granny’s hood probably didn’t realize that it would be its last meal.

Over 3 million netizens watched as a furious 74-year-old granny in Thailand’s rural Surin province released her vengeance on a snake by swinging the serpent over her head and bashing it onto the ground repeatedly.

The action was caught on video when Facebook user Godzillanoi Gebhed just happened to come out of his house and witnessed the ballsy granny killing a snake.

“Again, granny! It’s not dead yet,” the videographer is heard cheering her on in the video.

But less than a second later, he realized, “Stop, granny, I think it’s dead now.”

“It ate a toad!” she said.

The granny, later identified as Somsuk Saengpa, or Granny Meg, described her encounter with the snake to Channel 7, saying she spotted the snake when she was cycling past her daughter’s papaya salad shop in Baan Nongkong.

Granny Meg identified the animal as a non-venomous rat snake. Afraid the serpent would sneak into someone’s house, she parked her bicycle and chased after the snake to kill it.

“I swung it three times and it died,” she said, adding she has been catching snakes since she was young.

Granny’s advice? “Don’t try this at home.” We agree, especially not if you don’t have decades of experience like this granny.
