Two inbound lanes of Phaholyothin Road in Pathum Thani’s Lam Luk La district were blocked this morning after thousands of Leo Beer bottles flew off an 18-wheeler due to a faulty rope.
Piyaphong Morya, the 28-year-old truck driver of Speed Inter Transport Co. Ltd, told Khukhot police that he was transporting 2,480 crates of beer from the Bang Bua Thong district to Min Buri.
When Piyaphong was making a turn in front of Wat Lat Sa Nun, the rope that secured a tarp to the truck was torn, dispersing bottles of Leo all over the road.
The road has been cleared and the traffic has now returned to normal (i.e. terrible), INN reported.
