Obviously, even Jirayu “James” Tangsrisuk, being one of the hottest Thai actors with the most fangirls, is not hot enough for Thai women to whip out several one-thousand-baht bills from their purse for his fan meeting, which is almost as expensive as the ticket to see world-class superstars like Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift.
After announcing the sky-high ticket prices last month for James’ fan club meeting, “Meta Presents James Ji Monkey King Fan Meeting” and with only one week left until the show, James had to come out and say that there seems to be bunch of tickets left, MThai reported.
Not what he expected, perhaps?
“I don’t know if people misunderstand that the tickets are sold out or what, but actually there are a lot of tickets left,” James tells the press, “The sold-out tickets are the VIP, or 6,000 baht tickets. The less expensive ones are still up for grabs.”
And he assured everyone he’s working hard to prepare.
“I practice every day until late for the best show,” he added.
When being asked how he feels that his concert might be an epic fail, he cutely requested the press promote his concert.
“Am I worried? I’d need help from you guys to promote my concert,” James says
