The biggest topic on Thai social networks this morning pertains to a story falsely claiming that Jintara Sookkapat, a 48-year-old actress, was sexually abused by a protest guard at Pathumwan intersection Monday night.
The actress revealed to the press this morning that the gossip is bogus, and she has been forced to deny the rumors to countless friends who have called her about the incident.
Jintara added she had dinner at Central Chidlom with her family Monday night, stopped by the protest and took photos with some fans. After that, she went home safe and sound.
Jaintara vows to prosecute the person who started the rumours as the claim has ruined her reputation, Matichon reported.
