Adele should be proud. Footage of a band performing a cover of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep at a mountain resort has quickly gone viral for its female singer entertaining the crowd with her improvised lyrics, exaggerated accent molam-style embellishments, complete with trills and country falsetto.
The nearly three-minute clip was shared last night by Anucha Sangchart, who checked in at Baankatisod Pai resort up in the Pai, a mountain getaway in Hong Son province. It has captured the heart of netizens by garnering more than 400,000 views and 17,000 shares.
“Let’s sing like this next time we meet lol,” Yohkthon Yingyuadhirankhun commented, tagging her friend Tammy.
Some couldn’t help comparing the cover to the original version by English singer Adele.
“Adele would be crying tears of appreciation,” Kubkib Winiya wrote.
“I can’t go back to listening to original version anymore,” Yonradi Phk wrote.
