Police are reviewing surveillance cameras around the Sathorn Bridge area following an incident in which a car was reportedly struck with a two-kilogram cement brick tossed from the bridge.
Victim Arwut Worathawiwat told Samrae police yesterday that his car was hit at around 10pm while he was passing under the bridge on the outbound lane of Charoennakorn Road. Arwut learned from a witness to the attack that a man in a helmet looked over the bridge immediatedly after the rock was hurled.
The incident is the third rock attack in as many weeks. Police are trying to determine whether this attack has a link to another two attacks that took place at Silom Intersection and Ratchadaphisek Road near the Rama Nine Intersection late last month.
Police encourage witnesses to call 191 or travel to the Samrae station to report further information.
