THIS WEEK IN PATTAYA — Something wonderful happened! A man rode down South Pattaya Road, where no one was presently being stabbed or scraped off the sidewalk, and THB1,000 notes just started pouring out of his satchel into the street.
The Pattayans who witnessed the storm of cash suddenly choking the air yelled and tried to stop the dude, but he didn’t flinch, didn’t care. No fucks given.
But that’s actually not the crazy part.
After Cash Santa rode off, five women started scooping up all the money, which they then handed it over to authorities, who promised to look for the owner, Sanook reported.
Good job Pattaya, we love to be proven wrong and celebrate your character, at least that of these five wonderful women. And I’m sure everyone feels better knowing it’s in the hands of the police.
